Offering multiple conveniences and attractive features, the SUV is meticulously designed to make every ride a pleasant and memorable experience. Here’s what makes this four-wheeler stand out in the market.

Models
There are two Lincoln MKT trim levels: Base and Reserve. The Reserve trim is what buyers should seek out if they desire driver assistance features because the majority are not offered in the base trim.

Top Features That Make the Lincoln MKT Stand Out

Infotainment and connectivity
Lincoln MKT comes with wraparound headlamps, large rear quarter windows, and an updated lower grille. Both trims come equipped with the SYNC 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen and smart device integration that’s easy to operate. The system also has navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a THX II audio system, and satellite radio. The trims also include tri-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sun/moonroof, a heated steering wheel, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. They have standard rear defrost doors and windows with privacy glass and power windows.

In addition to the features of the base trim, the MKT Reserve has multiple driver assistant features.

Space and comfort
It boasts a luxurious interior, flexible, well-equipped cabin, tasteful layout, central information display, and superior soundproofing. The three-row SUV can comfortably accommodate seven passengers, six with the optional captain’s chairs in the second row. Taller people can comfortably drive, ride shotgun, or sit in the back with plenty of legroom. It also comes with heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, fog lamps, heated and ventilated front seats, power-adjustable front seats, and leather upholstery. Second-row seats come with a ventilation option.

Cargo
If all seats are occupied, MKT has a cargo capacity of 17.9 cubic feet. It increases to 39.6 cubic feet when the third row is folded and to 75.9 cubic feet when the second and third rows are folded. Compared to most competitors in the same class, that is more cargo room. Standard features include a motorized liftgate and a power-folding third-row seat. It has interior cargo shade standards on both trims.

Engine & fuel
Both models are all-wheel drives and include a standard 365-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. The MKT is an all-wheel drive that feels swift in various circumstances because of its power and reliable acceleration. The MKT models are quite fuel-efficient, given the performance they offer. They score an EPA-estimated 15 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway. The fuel tank capacity is 18.6 gal.

Driver assistance
The luxury MKT Reserve is equipped with a vehicle anti-theft system, HID headlights, active park assist, lane keeping assist, assisted pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning. It adds to the driver’s comfort with tech features like keyless entry, remote engine start, cruise control, and auto-off headlights. Rain sensing wipers, navigation system, onboard hands-free communications systems, and wireless cell phone hookups provide good assistance to the driver.

Cost, warranty, insurance
The MKT starts at $50,495. For the MKT, Lincoln offers a six-year/70,000-mile powertrain warranty and a four-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. Pre-owned models for six years or less or fewer than 60,000 miles get a certified pre-owned programme. The first selling date of the car establishes its eligibility. Lincoln’s original new-car guarantee is up to six years from the original selling date or 100,000 miles. They offer other perks like vehicle history reports, towing, and 24-hour roadside assistance. The cost of insuring the vehicle depends on factors like the level of coverage one needs, type of insurance, deductible, one’s credit score and age, past driving record, and location.
