Timeless Features of the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63

Mercedes’ Original CLS-Class metamorphosed its modern automotive design by offering the sporty dynamics of a coupe with a hint of sedan practicality. It is a four-seat, four-door CLS available in two models – the CLS550 and the CLS 63. This guide will review the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63,   one of the most   performance-oriented Mercedes. It comes engineered with the Pre-Safe system that auto closes the sunroof and moves the front seats to a safe position if the sensors detect any collision.

How does it drive?
Even though its chassis might be based on the previous generation E-Class, the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63 delivers top-notch, superior performance on fast, flowing roads.

Timeless Features of the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63
When it comes to the tighter bends, its size counts against it. However, the way CLS turns, steers, and brakes, makes it at par with even the newer competitors. The all-wheel-drive system solidifies its grip levels even in the most slippery conditions. Its steering is well-weighted, providing better feedback than you probably expect from a luxury sedan.

Comfort
Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63   is the best pick for long trips. Its comprehensive, noise isolation, comfortable seats, and compliant ride quality make it ideal when the open road beckons. Its front seats are plush and cozy, providing superior comfort for long stints in the saddle.

However, some improvement on the seat cooler can help.
Regardless, the ride quality is top-notch. If you ride it in the default Comfort mode, the CLS absorbs all the imperfections gracefully sans any unnecessary mush, making it exemplary in how to do it all right.

Further, it is a cozy, quiet car with minimal road noise. Its engine note is tranquil and produces a pleasant rumble only if you dip into the throttle. Manufacturers have well-tamped the wind noise too. All of this makes it the best car for long trips.

Performance
Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63   is revolutionary in every respect. Its V8, twin-turbo, 5.5-liter engine assures 590 lb-ft of torque and 577 horsepower with a seven-speed automatic transmission that transmits to all four vehicles, letting you go from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. Hence, it is superfast for most cars in its class and even some supercars. Its in-gear acceleration is of ‘catch your breath’ variety, and the vehicle smashes you into the seatbacks every time you change gears. It has a 22 mpg highway and 16 mpg city rating. Of course, it is not the best, but it is much better than what you will see in the similarly powered contenders.

Interiors
Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63   has a solid feeling and a beautifully-finished interior. Its cabin speaks volumes of its style and class. The vehicle has a dramatically sloping roofline that somewhat eats the headroom, hampers the visibility, and compromises entry. Regardless, Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63   has ample space to accommodate the passengers in the back and front.
It has intuitive controls, and the cruise control interface is outstanding. As stated, the sloping roofline makes getting in and out of the front seat challenging, which only worsens for the backseat users. However, the front seat provides the seaters ample space to spread out. Its front headroom may be snug if you are six feet or above, but there is good shoulder and legroom. Its front seats tend to go a little too far, making it challenging for the seaters to touch the pedals with the tiptoes. In the back seat, the headroom is a little tight.
The visibility out of the front side glass and the front is good, but the rearview gets hindered by its sloping roofline, thick rear roof pillars, and tall rear deck. Hence, we recommend backup camera use.

Overall, the interiors are well-built with intuitive controls. The upholstery is commendable, and the cushioned seats give you a comfortable experience.

Bottom Line
Depending on your chosen model and options, you can find a vehicle between $108,900 – $108,900, and like every vehicle, even Mercedes-Benz AMG CLS 63   has its pros and cons. So, weigh in both to make an informed choice.
