The all-new Volkswagen Tiguan
Volkswagen as a brand was founded as an automobile company that was state-owned back in 1937, under the rule of the mighty Adolf Hitler.
Today Volkswagen as a brand has grown to be a rather known name in the worldwide automobile market and is especially well-known in the country. Each Volkswagen brand that launches in the country leaves an impact. Like the brand-new Volkswagen Tiguan, which is known to be the brand’s smallest SUV. This SUV is larger and has advanced tech-savvy features as compared to its predecessor. It also comes with a 184-horsepower turbocharged 2.0 liter inline four engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The SUV also has an option of both front or all-wheel-drive.
The brand-new Volkswagen Tiguan, due to its larger body makes for enough interior space to accommodate a third-row seat. While this option comes as a standard with all front-drive models, you can also avail of this option on the all-wheel-drive models by paying $500 additional. This space at the back also makes for some great luggage space if the third-row seats are folded. Also, the torque of the brand-new Volkswagen Tiguan has significantly increased from 207 lb-ft to 221lb-ft.
In the case of frills and trims, this SUV comes with fully equipped leather, a rather large sunroof, adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking, lane keeping assist system, blind spot warning, front seat and steering wheel heating, a view camera, power liftgate, an 8.0 touchscreen display with navigation as well as a configurable digital instrument cluster.
While earlier the sales of Volkswagen as a brand were rather low in the market, today the case is just as much the opposite. For instance, the sales of Volkswagen cars in January 2018 saw a 5.2% increase as compared to its sales in January 2017. Before you opt for any of the above-mentioned cars, make sure you do your research well and opt for one that suits your requirement and budget.
