Hyundai Palisade – Fuel Economy, Pricing, and Other Specs

The new Hyundai Palisade has been introduced with revised styling. It comes with a front grille and daytime LED running lights that give the car a more refined look. One may also notice that the headlight cluster fits better in its place than in the previous models. The Palisade comes in various trim levels, available in front-wheel and all-wheel drive versions. The latest offering from Hyundai comes with a starting price of $34,950.

Comfort
One thing we love about three-row-long SUVs like the Palisade is how comfortable they are. Add to that the bare minimum noise this car makes, and you just might want to fall asleep in it.

Hyundai Palisade – Fuel Economy, Pricing, and Other Specs
The car’s front seats are comfortable for short as well as long drives and offer excellent posture support. The second and third-row seats are equally comfortable.

Interiors
An appealing feature in the Palisade is the button that provides easy access to the rear passenger row. This button makes folding and sliding the second-row chair out of the way for convenient access to the last row passenger seats. That said, the car has features that enhances the overall driving experience. The seats are plush and comfortable, although they can be a tad bit bulky. The driver’s seat allows for clear side and front visibility.

Technology
You can easily work with the Palisade’s technology as it is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The car has seven USB ports across all three rows. Not to forget, it is equipped with a 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system. That said, you also get access to adaptive cruise control, blind-spot collision warning, lane keep assist features, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, remote smart parking assist, among others.

The Palisade is also equipped with Hyundai’s Digital Key 2 Touch feature. Compatible with only certain smartphones and watches, this feature allows you to unlock your car by simply holding the device near the car’s lock. You can add it to your AppleWallet® and pop your car open through your iPhone® or Apple Watch®. The feature also lets you share your car key with trusted people.

Storage
The car offers a storage space of 18 cubic feet if all the seats are upright. Fold down the seats from both the passenger rows and you have a storage space of approximately 86 cubic feet. You also have access to storage space in the form of a small underfloor compartment that can come in handy. When it comes to small items, storage options include a convenient center bin with a lid and another bin with a cover between the front passenger seats. The Palisade also comes with numerous cup holders even for the back seats. Another benefit is the car’s hauling capacity. The Hyundai SUV has a towing capacity of about 5000 pounds.

The car has a wide hatch door to help you easily put away your luggage or other bulky items you want to haul across town. The wider entrances and seat gaps make it easy to install baby seats in the car, with the conveniently placed seat anchors making the task easier.

Fuel economy
The Palisade’s all-wheel drive comes with 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on highways. The front-wheel drive is rated at 19 and 26 mpg for the city and the highway, respectively. The all-wheel drive has a combined mpg of 21, as per EPA estimates, whereas the front-wheel drive is rated at 22 mpg.

Pricing
The new Hyundai Palisade is one of the best value for money cars you can buy in this segment. The car’s driving experience, sturdiness, smooth grip, interiors, and massive storage space all feel more like a worthy investment than an expense. The Palisade SE, which is the base model, will give you access to most of the desired features. It is available at a starting price of $34,950. The Palisade Limited trim comes with high-end features and costs $46,500. If you wish to buy a car with all top-rated features, the Palisade Calligraphy can be yours for $48,900.
