How to categorize fragrances

Fragrances are great for the mind, body and soul, and are soothing to the core even with just one mere whiff. Fragrances are manufactured in factories in bulk quantities without compromising on the fragrance, or as one calls it, the quality. The fragrance is retained till the very end of the process, with even the last drop of the perfume ending up smelling sweet in the bottle. Let’s look at the types of perfumes and how they are stored.

Based on combinations
Perfumes are derived from substances which produce sweet odor or smell. The smell will be sweet as well as pleasant.

How to categorize fragrances
These perfumes are first tried with different combinations of raw materials and produced for experiments and put out for researchers to give their feedback. The fragrance could be provided with a dip on a slip or in spray bottle for market researches.

Based on gender
Perfumes and fragrances are manufactured differently for men and women. The only reason being, what suits a man’s sweat and body type may not be suitable for a woman depending on her body type. Since biologically we are all differently made, each of us our own smell. Perfume smells the way it smells due to its reaction with our skin or sweat.

The combination gives rise to a unique type of fragrance. A lot of studies go through these experiments to produce friendly, well-tested fragrances that we can use in our daily lives. Plenty of efforts go into discovering the various forms of perfumes.

Based on smell
Fragrances can be categorized as spicy, pleasant, sweet, fruity, musky etc. Different kind of people fall for different kinds of fragrance. Also, be mindful of the smell since it also reacts with your natural body odor once you apply it. This is usually seen in perfumes, deodorants etc.

Based on products
Plenty other forms of fragrant products are available in the market. For instance, they can be in the form of scented candles, body soaps, body wash, colognes, perfumes, aftershaves etc. All of them contain fragrances. These are used in our daily lives for various occasions. A pleasant fragrance lightens the mood and makes you feel relaxed. Similarly, blissful scented candles used in spa and bathrooms have amazing power to soothe your senses and help you relax. These are also used in essences in incense sticks at temples, monasteries and during meditation processes.
